- Population
- Adults with OA undergoing total knee arthroplasty (17 men, 20 women)
- Intervention
- Creatine 10 g/day for 10 days pre-surgery, then 5 g/day for 30 days post-surgery
- Comparator
- Placebo
- Limitations
- Small; peri-operative catabolic setting may swamp supplement effects; short supplementation window.
