Preclinicalcounts toward this tier
Adding Cu-GHK after irradiation raised procollagen I C-peptide production by about 30%, COL1 mRNA by about 70% and bFGF secretion by about 230% relative to LED alone, with a dose-response across LED energy.
- Population
- HS68 human dermal fibroblasts
- Intervention
- Red LED photoirradiation at 0, 1 or 2 J followed by Cu-GHK incubation
- Comparator
- LED photoirradiation alone
- Limitations
- One cell line, one laboratory; a combination protocol, so the peptide's independent contribution is bounded by the LED-alone arm only.
