Faster wound closure with better granulation, re-epithelialisation and collagen deposition at day 18, raised VEGF in wounded skin, and in culture increased HUVEC proliferation, migration and tube formation via ERK1/2 with c-Fos, c-Jun and Egr-1 downstream.
