Wrinkles around the treated eye visibly decreased. Biopsies of treated versus untreated skin showed increased dermal collagen, greatly increased fibrillin-1 and procollagen type I, increased tropoelastin, and a slight increase in collagen IV.

One 59-year-old man with periorbital wrinkles

Intervention

Weekly Jet-M delivery of a five-ingredient solution containing copper-GHK, for 12 weeks

Comparator

Untreated contralateral skin, sampled by biopsy

Limitations

A single patient, a five-ingredient formulation and a resurfacing device; the histology cannot be attributed to GHK-Cu.
