Preclinicalcounts toward this tier
The pineal complex was 3.26% free amino acids, 23.19% dipeptides, 50.72% tripeptides, 22.10% tetrapeptides and 0.72% pentapeptides, with AEDG detected among the tetrapeptides — the published worked example of how the program identifies a named peptide inside a tissue extract.
- Population
- The pineal-gland polypeptide complex
- Intervention
- Mass spectrometry and HPLC with selective reaction monitoring
- Comparator
- n/a
- Limitations
- A different organ complex from the cartilage one; the paper infers that the complex's effects are 'determined by' its AEDG content rather than testing that claim; institute-authored.
