The same NAD+/SIRT3 logic in the spine's cartilaginous tissue: AGEs stress impaired SIRT3 and drove human disc-cell apoptosis; NMN restored SIRT3 function and rescued the cells via AMPK-PGC-1α, and protected against disc degeneration in a rat model.
