Two findings. Peptide composition differed markedly between preparations and between production batches of the same preparation. And no significant effect on cultured synoviocytes could be demonstrated for any batch of any of the three products across the targets examined.

Limitations

In-vitro only, and the authors note they examined a small number of pharmacologically relevant targets, so absence of effect here is not proof of inertness in vivo.
