Two uncomfortable findings at once. Peptide composition differed markedly between preparations AND between production batches of the same preparation — there is no standardisation behind the label. And no significant effect on cultured synoviocytes could be demonstrated for any batch of any of the three products across the targets examined.

Human osteoarthritic fibroblast-like synoviocytes; three commercial collagen hydrolysates (CH-Alpha, Peptan B 2000, Mobiforte) and multiple production batches of each

MALDI-TOF and ICPL isotope-labelling composition analysis, plus pharmacological testing on synoviocytes
Limitations
