Preclinicalcounts toward this tier

BPC 157 restored platelet aggregation that aspirin, clopidogrel and cilostazol had suppressed — arachidonic-acid, ADP and collagen-induced aggregation all recovered — while thromboelastometry measures of clot formation and lysis were unchanged.

Population
Rats given aspirin, clopidogrel or cilostazol 10 mg/kg intragastrically for three days
Intervention
BPC 157 10 µg/kg intragastrically after each antiplatelet dose
Comparator
Antiplatelet plus saline
Limitations
Originating network, rat aggregometry; reported as a benefit, but reversal of an intended antiplatelet effect is a drug-interaction signal for anyone taking aspirin or clopidogrel, and it has never been tested in humans.
