10-year survival 87.2% overall (16 conversions) and 94.3% in the HTO+ACI subgroup (2 conversions); VAS pain fell and Lysholm rose in both (P < .001). The complication rate was 8.8%. Four independent risk factors for conversion: BMI of 35 or higher (P = .019), female sex (P = .046), a low preoperative Tegner score (P = .001) and age.
