NULL on both co-primary functional endpoints. Grip strength changed 1.25 kg (95% CI -2.31 to 4.81) on NMN versus -0.44 kg (-4.15 to 3.26) on placebo; walking speed 0.033 m/s (-0.021 to 0.087) versus 0.014 m/s. No exploratory indicator differed significantly, though frailty prevalence and central retinal thickness showed non-significant trends.

- Male patients with diabetes aged 65 and over with reduced grip strength or walking speed, mean age 81

- NMN 250 mg/day for 24 weeks

- Fourteen participants — far too small to exclude a modest effect. Men only, one centre, 24 weeks. The longest NMN trial with functional endpoints and it found nothing.
