NULL on the primary endpoint — the stepping test showed no difference at 4 or 12 weeks. Among secondary endpoints, 4-metre walking time was shorter than placebo at 12 weeks (the placebo group's time worsened), blood NAD+ and its metabolites rose, and PSQI scores for daytime dysfunction (p=0.010) and global sleep quality (p=0.013) improved.

- The title reports secondary endpoints; the primary endpoint was null. Funded entirely by Meiji Holdings, and three of the four authors are Meiji employees. The walking-speed difference arose partly because placebo deteriorated rather than NMN improving.
