Ten of twelve reported complete symptom resolution and the other two about 80% relief on the Global Response Assessment, with no dropouts and no adverse events reported — the second of the three published human pilots, and the largest by number of subjects.

Population

Twelve women aged 39–76 with moderate-to-severe interstitial cystitis, none of whom had responded to pentosan polysulfate

Intervention

A single procedure injecting 10 mg BPC-157 (503A compounded) around the inflamed bladder wall at cystoscopy

Limitations

Uncontrolled, unblinded, single-arm, single clinic, single-item subjective endpoint, and a low-rigor journal; the same author reports the knee case series and the intravenous safety pilot, so all three human reports come from one clinical group.
